With label at the backside, reading:

Date of creation
The sticker on the back states a price in ‘Mark’, the official currency of Germany until 1924 (replaced in 1924 by the ’Reichsmark’, which was replaced in 1948 by the ‘Deutsche Mark’). The selling price of 500 (M), indicates that it must have been created before the hyperinflation, which started approx. in spring 1922. The painting style also indicates that it is an early work by Wissel.
Velber is nowadays part of the city of Seelze, Limmer has become a district of Hannover.

With stamp on the back (on the stretcher-frame) from the original framemaker in Hannover:  ‘Ferd. Meyer, Hannover, Bahnhofstrasse 14 I, Malutensilien für Künstler’.
