‘Mädchen, eine Blume Haltend’ (‘Girl with Flower’)
Biography: Rudolf Hermann Eisenmenger

Displayed at the Grosse Deutsche Kunstausstellung 1944, room 24; depicted in ‘Die Kunst im Deutschen Reich’, 1944.
Bought at 14 September 1944 by Max Rill aus Reichersbeuern for 9,000 Reichsmark. Rill was the owner of the private girls’ school ‘Max Rill’, located at castle Reichersbeuern (Bavaria), whose pupils included Gudrun Himmler (daughter of Heinrich Himmler), two of Himmlers nieces, as well as daughters of other high ranking SS-ers, and the niece of Rudolf Hess.
The private school still exist at Schloss Reichersbeuern under the name of ‘Max-Rill-Gymnasium’. 

Earlier displayed at the ‘Wiener Herbstausstellung 1943’, in the Künstlerhaus, Vienna; depicted in the ‘Illustrierte Kronen Zeitung’, 31 October 1943.
