Depicted is Hannerl Meierhanser (or ‘Annerl’), favorite model of Sepp Hilz. Hannerl stood i.a. model for ‘Bäuerliche Venus’ (‘Farmer-woman Venus’, GDK 1939) and ‘Die Eitelkeit’ (‘Vanity’, GDK 1940).
